Bavarian flair meets Bavarian history

Surrounded by iconic Munich landmarks such as the Olympic Tower and the Olympic Stadium, the Olympiapark Beer Garden will be opening its doors during good weather from 11 a.m. each day between April and October.

Amid panoramic vistas of the Olympic Hill and the Olympic Lake, traditional Bavarian snacks and classic treats will taste especially good. Hint: you to try the crisp pork shanks in dark beer sauce or the juicy grilled chicken. It’s also one of the few beer gardens that has a star chef on its team of managers. Otto Koch will be in charge of choosing the food on offer.

Another highlight of the beer garden in the Olympiapark is the 100 or more round beer tables that are guaranteed to ensure a convivial atmosphere.

The beer garden’s list of drinks offers something for everyone – from freshly-drawn beer from Munich’s traditional Hacker-Pschorr brewery and various wines and prosecco to refreshing alcohol-free drinks. And of course, there are coffees and freshly-baked cakes to help make a relaxed afternoon in the Olympiapark a truly memorable experience.

So whether you’re walking, jogging or cycling through the Olympic area, the Olympiapark’s beer garden is the perfect spot to take a break or meet friends before an event. The site is conveniently accessible via public transport using the U3, direction Moosach, via tram lines 20 or 21 or via the city bus line 173.

Summer garden:          70 tables with 8 seats each = 560 seats (East side)
Innkeeper’s Garden:    30 tables with 8 seats each = 240 seats (West side)

Therefore a total of 800 seats are available. For special events this area can be extended with additional folding beer garden furniture.
