Is there an age limit?

Yes, the minimum age is 10.  There's no limit at the upper end.

Is the tour cancelled in bad weather?

We cannot conduct the tour in snow, thunderstorms or strong wind. If it drizzles, the tour will take place. There's definitely no danger of slipping when it rains.

Can I take my camera or video camera with me?

On the tent roof tour you can only take a camera with you if it has a shoulder strap as cameras must be fastened to the harness for safety reasons.

While events and its reconstruction work it is not allowed to take cameras with you!

IMPORTANT: For safety reasons, no cameras are allowed on the tent roof tour with abseiling!

What requirements do I have to fulfil?

The health requirements stated in our participants declaration are applicable (PDF-Datei). Mountaineering or climbing experience is not necessary.

Abseiling:

Weight: 30-120kg

Flying Fox/Roof Climb incl. Flying Fox

Weight: 40-120kg

Can I simply turn up and take part?

We recommend that you always book in advance as we can only accept a limited number of guests. We are always fully booked in the school holidays and at weekends.

Is the tour dangerous?

No, the tour is not dangerous if you follow the instructions of our tour guides. The tour goes over the roof along a guarded walkway with railings. The guests are also roped to a safety sysem.

What is the minimum group charge?

The minimum group charge is the minimum charge for a small group for an exclusive guided tour. For example, if you wish to do the tent roof tour alone and exclusively with just four people, then this minimum group charge would apply.
