The Super Trouper Tour 2020

It’s almost 40 years since the original release of Abba’s top-selling LP, "Super Trouper". And in its dazzling "Super Trouper Tour" next year, ABBAMANIA is going to celebrate this special 40th Anniversary, attracting hordes of ABBA fans with a show in Munich.

It isn’t just the anniversary of the release of that massively successful album that’s going to be celebrated, but also the title track which also came out in 1980. This again affirms the massive pulling-power of the Swedish supergroup in their heyday. In Germany, Dutch and UK charts, "Super Trouper" went straight to #1, though it wasn’t long before the most successful Swedish pop band of all time decided to call it quits. So, let’s celebrate the glittering pizzazz of the late seventies with ABBAMANIA 2020, harking back to an era dominated by platform shoes, bat sleeves and fancy headgear!

With loads of ABBA hits on the programme, including "Dancing Queen", "Waterloo" and "Honey, Honey" as well as their energetic performances, the ABBAMANIA Ensemble are sure to wow Abba fans.

Waterloo (the band), together with musicians of the renowned London Symphonic Rock Orchestra, leading actresses Maria Höglund (Anni-Frid) and Ulrika Gustafson (Agnetha) and original Abba bandmember & saxophonist, Ulf Andersson, have already thrilled more than a million visitors worldwide. In 2020, they’re sure to pull out the all stops with an amazing show playing to their most loyal fans and ecstatic international audiences.

Founding members Katja Nord and Camilla Dahlin (both in charge of the ABBAMANIA musical direction), remain involved in the production.
