„Dreamworld - The Greatest Hits Live“-Tour

Pet Shop Boys

The current pandemic situation and the existing measures to contain the coronavirus again affect the "Dreamworld - The Greatest Hits Live Tour" of the Pet Shop Boys and make a new rescheduling of the concerts unavoidable. New date in Munich is May 2022. All already purchased tickets keep their validity.

As Coco Chanel once noted, "Fashion is fleeting. Style never is". Though she didn't quite have the Pet Shop Boys in mind, Coco Chanel’s remark accurately characterises Britain's most successful duo. Now they’re set to play in Munich on their "Dreamworld – The Greatest Hits Live" tour.

From their first hit single "West End Girls", that shot to the top of the British charts, to the recent "Dreamland", the success story of the Pet Shop Boys las lasted almost 40 years. The duo has always remained true to their elegant style. Despite the changes in their music throughout the years, their songs are instantly recognizable, distinguished not only by Tennant's distinctive vocals, but also by their unique production style. This extends to their early pop anthems and their cool cover versions, or composing songs and producing records for artists such as Kylie Minogue, Tina Turner and David Bowie. The Pet Shop Boys also worked with the Dresden Symphony Orchestra and produced a soundtrack for Sergej Eisenstein's epic silent movie, "Battleship Potemkin". Whether it was disco, house, techno or anything else, The Pet Shop Boys always seemed to do everything right. Always good-natured and having fun.

Their new album, "Hotspot", released in January and their 14th so far, was recorded in Los Angeles and Berlin. This is exactly where the Pet Shop Boys' next European tour kicks off, which will take them to seven major arenas.
