Munich Rock Night - Live 2022

Foreigner

As a result of the Corona pandemic, Foreigner must, with great regret, postpone all performances in Germany scheduled for June 2021. In the new tour period, which has been scheduled for June 2022, all planned concerts can be made up. Foreigner will play as part of the Munich Rock Night on June 11, 2022 in Munich with Canadian progressive rockers SAGA and The New Roses from Germany as special guests. Tickets already purchased will remain valid.

Formed around founding member Mick Jones, Foreigner is set to return on their live tour of Europe, playing at the Munich Rock Night in the Olympic Hall, supported by Canadian prog-rockers, SAGA, with The New Roses from Germany as special guests.

With no less than 10 multi-platinum albums and 16 Top 30 hits in the USA, (nine of them in the Top 10 alone), this established classic rock band are one of the most commercially successful of all time – influencing Classic Rock over the past few decades. With sales of over 80 million records, they are one of the most successful rock bands in history. Generating over a million clicks on YouTube per week, their songs are streamed to over 10 million viewers. Their long repertoire of Top 30 hit singles would be enough to fill an entire evening show!

During the course of their 21 studio and 9 live albums, SAGA have sold ten million copies worldwide and played over 1,000 concerts in North and South America and Europe so far. And the end is still nowhere in sight! For Sadler, it's all too obvious: this isn’t a profession, but a vocation! Being on stage night after night with the Crichton brothers, keyboarder Jim Gilmour and drummer Mike Thorne is what it’s all about. It should be no surprise that a new album will be released in spring, in time for their upcoming 2020 tour.

Special guests on the show, The New Roses, are set to warm up the audiences. With their fourth album "Nothing but Wild", these hard rockers from Wiesbaden have set their sights high ... and are on their way to the top! Following worldwide tours and shows supporting legends such as KISS and the SCORPIONS, The New Roses are getting set for a much-anticipated follow-up to their "One for The Road" (2017), which reached #20 on the German album charts. With numerous influences ranging from classic to hard rock, country and blues, The New Roses have forged a distinct sound, capable of making a high impact in contemporary rock arenas!
