In an awe-inspiring production, Jeff Lynne and ELO present their amazing back-catalogue of hits featuring their unmistakeable sound. The man himself was highly enthusiastic: "Our audience is incredible! It seems as if they are almost part of the band. We can't wait to play for them again".
Hardly any other band has been so successful in harmonising rock/pop with classical music, as the Electric Light Orchestra has done. Driven by the iconic Jeff Lynne, their different musical poles merge in a seamless symbiosis. With sales of nearly 60 million albums and 26 singles, their outstanding track record speaks for itself. Having packed out open-air festivals and mega-arenas, Jeff Lynne's ELO are set to return to Europe to play selected concerts in autumn 2020. Between 26 – 30 September, the legendary ensemble will be bringing their special brand of orchestral rock to Hamburg, Berlin, Cologne and Munich.
As producer, songwriter, arranger, lead singer and guitarist – Jeff Lynne remains the driving force behind ELO. Together with Bob Dylan, Roy Orbison, George Harrison and Tom Petty he founded the illustrious Travelling Wilburys, which went down in pop music history. And as producer and musician, he’s worked with some of the greatest artists of all time, such as The Beatles, Paul McCartney, Tom Petty and more recently, Bryan Adams.
Scaling new heights of popularity, Jeff Lynne's ELO has enjoyed unimaginable success that spanned from 1970 to the present, with their catalogue of hit singles such as "Can't Get It Out of My Head", "Evil Woman", "Telephone Line" and "Mr. Blue Sky", and a slew of platinum albums including "Eldorado", "A New World Record", "Discovery", "Xanadu" and "Time".
