Lindsey Vonn & Felix Neureuther

So everything is ready in the Olympic lobby. Two good-humoured ski stars leave their traces in the cement. In the background are display boards featuring photographs of the 1972 Olympics, Robbie Williams and the Emperor with the World Cup. Now, two skiers are part of the impressive MOWOS family. They're clearly in a good mood, joke lots and are delighted to be honoured in this way. For Felix, this "home race" is of course of considerable importance. At the end of it, he will take fourth place in a thrilling duel with Bode Miller, played out on a breathtaking backdrop (snow-covered Olympic Park, 25,000 spectators). Vonn unfortunately leaves in the quarter-finals.

But at the Olympic Lake, they take first place - at least in the discipline of Alpine racing.
