Our offer: climb up on the roof with us!

Visitor service opens for the new season on the 8th of April 2017. Olympic Park visitors can look forward to an entertaining programme of tours.

Just in time for the Easter holidays, the Olympiapark München GmbH's visitor service will be starting the tourist season with a great deal of excitement and a host of fantastic activities. From the 8th of April, visitors to the park will once again be able to enjoy a varied, exciting and always informative programme of activities, including the popular marquee roof tours. They offer everything, from adventure and nerve-racking moments to fascinating experiences and of course lots of amazing information about the Olympic Park's almost 45-year history.

The number one attraction remains the marquee roof tour, which from the 2017 season will also include a new film about the world-famous roof and its inventor Frei Otto. The tour takes visitors along the world-famous Plattenfeld up to a pylon. A must-do experience: a breathtaking panoramic view and unique architecture. There are of course also many other interesting things to experience in the Olympic Park. The option with a dare-devil twist: the marquee roof tour with abseiling. After the marquee roof tour, the truly brave can then abseil from the edge of the stadium roof, some 40 metres up, down into the arena. A high-up experience with subsequent flight on Europe's longest zip wire is also available with the marquee roof tour with Flying Fox.

It has been hugely popular in recent years, and is therefore now back on the programme: the sunset tour. The "twilight" marquee roof tour begins at the end of May.

Once a month, the public Architek-Tour joins the list of visitor tours available. To accommodate visitors’ wishes, the ever-popular Stadium Tour will be offered twice a day and three times a day from Friday to Sunday and on public holidays. Olympics, sporting events and rock and pop concerts - it's worth a peek behind the scenes. And of course plenty of time is also dedicated to the 33 years of football history. The tour programme also includes the Olympic Lobby, which boasts an exciting exhibition featuring the World Cup (replica) and a match on a six-metre-long giant tabletop football machine. The Tour de Park shows off even more Olympic worlds. With the park railway, visitors are taken right the way across the Olympic Park to the Olympic Stadium, where many closed doors are opened - including, of course, the Olympic Lobby. And during the subsequent walk to the Olympic Hall and Olympic Swimming Pool, even more secrets will be uncovered.

All tours are conducted either in German or English, and also in French on request. Individual appointments can be arranged for groups following prior registration. For the marquee roof tour (with and without Flying Fox) and the abseiling tour, early registration is strongly recommended!

And don’t forget: the flight with the Flying Fox can also be booked outside of a tour. The flights right over the Olympic Stadium will also be starting just in time for the Easter holidays.

All tours, including their prices and times, can be found at www.olympiapark.de. Available slots can be viewed and booked directly at www.touren-olympiapark.de.

This attraction can also be booked via the Olympic Park's Visitor Centre.
