NIGHT of the JUMPs 2019

Freestyle MX World Tour Championship

Since 2011, the World’s best-known extreme FMX sports series has been a popular annual fixture on the Bavarian capital’s events calendar. And for the first time in 2019, the NIGHT of the JUMPs at Munich’s Olympic Hall is being staged together with the official FIM Freestyle Motocross World Championship over two days.

The first in the Masters of Dirt series of indoor freestyle events, The NIGHT of the JUMPs feature ace riders performing their most hair-raising stunts while competing for the World Cup title. Trucks are set to transport more than 500 tons of sand to the Olympic Hall, converting it into a massive indoor dirt biking arena. Setups include ten jump ramps, plus a Double Backflip Kicker, a Frontflip as well as two Quarter Pipes across from two huge landing hills, where FMX bike aces will perform their death-defying stunts. Among the featured riders is 20-year-old German FMX European Champion, Luc Ackermann. Both World and European champions are expected to compete at the Munich NIGHT of the JUMPs, guaranteeing fireworks. Performing their most skilful stunts, competitors try to score as many points as possible towards the World Cup. Besides the dramatic World Cup competition, spectators also have some unexpected bonuses in store. At the Pitparty, fans also have the opportunity to mix with riders and take photos or get autographs from some of the world's best freestylers. Or simply just be there and see the world champions up close and personal.
