02/18/2004: The violin virtuoso André Rieu, who has played in the Olympic hall for many years, immortalized himself in the MOWOS.

The Olympic Park Munich thanked the exceptional Dutch musician André Rieu for his many successful concerts in the Olympic hall and paid tribute to his long career by immortalizing him in the Munich Olympic Walk of Stars. The violin superstar therefore pressed his hand into cement in the Olympic hall.

Only very few people believed that the Dutch violin star with the French name would be able to repeat in Germany the success that he already had in his native country. For 25 years André Rieu has been enthralling music lovers all over the world with his music in three-four time André Rieu and his Johann-Strauss Orchester triggered a real fashion for waltzing.
