05/28/2005: He's the first Swiss star to appear in the Walk of Stars! DJ Bobo has been thrilling fans for about 15 years and has filled the Olympic Hall several times. Shortly before his new show the Swiss-born entertainer laid his hands in cement.

The ceremony was attended by 100 hand-picked fans in the small Olympic Hall that borders on the back stage area of the Olympic Hall. The very charming and good-humoured Swiss DJ was visibly touched as he imprinted his hands in the Munich cement.

When one of the committee members said that he was the first Swiss person, DJ Bob grinned and said, "It will certainly be very difficult to find a second Swiss person for MOWOS." For the music branch at least, this opinion should continue to be true even after the inclusion of the legendary Six Days stars Risi and Betschaft.

The audience, who had come from all over Europe, clapped enthusiastically as DJ Bobo finished by signing his autograph in the wet cement.
In the evening he gave his "Pirates of Dance" show in the fully booked out Olympic Hall.

With his Alpine charm the popular Swiss DJ has achieved 250 gold records and 20 platinum ones. He has already sold over 10 million records.

His greatest awards:
9 x WORLD MUSIC AWARD / OTTO AWARD (Bravo magazine) / GOLDEN EUROPE AWARD/ GOLDEN LION AWARD (RTL ) / ECHO AWARD / GOLDEN MICROPHONE AWARD.
