Plans for the 30th IHF Men’s Handball World Championship 2027 in Germany are continuing to take shape: the match times for the tournament, which runs from 13 to 31 January 2027, have been finalised. This means that, seven months before the tournament begins, fans already know the times at which the matches will be played across the six World Championship venues: Munich, Stuttgart, Kiel, Magdeburg, Hanover and Cologne.

Next Friday, the MASH action sports festival kicks off at the Olympic Park. From 26 to 28 June, the best skateboarders, wakeboarders, BMX and MTB riders will be competing in top-class contests. Not to mention the street dancers, who will be staging thrilling battles at the Red Bull Dance Your Style Qualifier.

It’s quite simple: MASH is more! More than just an action sports event with top-class and thrilling contests. From 26 to 28 June, sport, culture and urban lifestyle come together here to create a unique festival experience. The heart of the event is the MASH Fest – this is where the scene comes alive.

Dominik Klein, Stefan Kretzschmar, Anja Althaus and Pascal Hens announced as ambassadors for the Men’s World Championship.

This coming Sunday will be the last chance to take a tour of the tent roof and stadium in the Olympic Park. It will also be the last day on which visitors can explore the stadium on their own. On Monday, the gates of the Olympic Stadium will close. No tours or visits will be possible during the renovation period.

For 24 days, the Olympic Park was once again a lively, diverse world of experiences: the summer festival delights a total of around 360,000 visitors. Under the patronage of Mayor Verena Dietl, the Olympic Park event offered a programme that left nothing to be desired.
