25.000 spectators witnessed a great show when all time legends of FC Bayern and TSV 1860 showed up in October 2022 for an exciting encounter at the Olympic Stadium – for an event that evoked great memories to the times when both the Reds and the Blues delivered unforgettable football matches at this iconic arena and when they had thrilling local derbies against each other.

On this wonderful autumn afternoon the mood was quite more pleasant and relaxed. As Bayern were on their way to an 8:6 victory over 1860 the atmosphere among the crowd as well as among the players on the pitch was light and easygoing. There was also lots of fun when some of the allstars came together and gathered for making their mark at the Walk of Stars.

Finally there was not much space left when Thomas Linke, Claudio Pizarro, Sammy Kuffour, Hansi Pflügler, Paulo Sergio, Giovane Elber and Raimond Aumann pushed their hands into the plaque. For 1860 there were Thomas Riedl, Benny Lauth, Harald Cerny, Bernhard Winkler, Michael Hofmann, Werner Lorant und Marco Kurz showing up.
