Jurassic World The Experience

The extraordinary success of this spectacular and impressive experience began over 30 years ago with the groundbreaking film Jurassic Park from Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment, directed by Steven Spielberg.

Jurassic World: The Experience is a family-friendly exhibition of impressive proportions – based on one of the most successful blockbuster franchises in film history. Visitors walk through the iconic Jurassic World gates, explore detailed themed areas, encounter a life-size Brachiosaurus, Velociraptor Blue and the most fearsome of all dinosaurs – the mighty Tyrannosaurus Rex. They can experience what it would have been like to live side by side with these fascinating creatures and even interact with baby dinosaurs – including Bumpy from the popular animated series Jurassic World: New Adventures from Universal Pictures, Amblin Entertainment and DreamWorks Animation, currently available on Netflix.

The Experience invites young and old alike to immerse themselves completely in a world inspired by the Jurassic World film series. The production is a collaboration between Universal Live Entertainment, NEON and Animax Designs, the creators of the lifelike animated dinosaurs.

Since its premiere in Melbourne, Australia, Jurassic World: The Experience has become a global success, thrilling over eight million visitors since 2016. The exhibition has already been staged in numerous international cities, including Cologne, Toronto, London, Atlanta, San Diego, Denver, Dallas, Chicago, Philadelphia, Paris, Madrid, Seoul, Chengdu, Guangzhou, Shanghai and Sydney.

Unimposingly embedded into the lovely landscape of the park under gentle meadows and lawns: two concrete arches mellowly oscilliated lead the path down into the underground to the Small Olympic Hall which has been designed by the famous Munich architectural office Auer + Weber and which has developed to a most demanded and highly respected location in the Olympic Park. The figures speak for themselves, 2014 more than 300 000 spectators came to see Gunther von Hagens’ “Body Worlds” in the Small Olympic Hall, in the year following also the exhibition “Tutanchamun – his grave and his treasures” with its insight into the secret and mysterious world of the ancient Egypt drew a large audience.
