Night of the Proms

11/12/2016

If you've been with us for so long and so successfully, you're allowed to immortalise yourself twice! This is what happened at the Night of the Proms.

Dirk Hohmeyer and his Night of the Proms have been celebrating an incredible success story since the 1990s, not only in Munich. But no hall has experienced the Proms as often as the Olympic Hall! After the 66th show in total, the crew around the great Zampano was allowed to immortalise itself in the Walk of Stars for the second time.

And this time, too, the names and the hands belonging to them were impressive: Simple Minds, Ronan Keating, Natasha Bedingfield, the Spider Murphy Gang, Stefanie Heinzmann, Time for Three, conductor Alexandra Arrieche, host Markus Othmer and, of course, Mister Music John Miles!

Incidentally, John Miles is the artist who has certainly had the most appearances in the history of the Olympic Hall, because he not only tours with the Proms, but has also always been on stage with Tina Turner.
