Concerts at the Olympic Park Munich

The Tolkien epic ‘The Lord of the Rings’ has enjoyed sensational success in recent years with the ‘In Concert Live to Film’ series. After the first two parts in the Olympic Hall, the final showdown of the trilogy is set for 14 March 2026 with ‘The Return of the King’. The orchestra, choir and soloists will perform Howard Shore's Oscar-winning film score to the original version of the blockbuster on the big screen.

He is one of the most important composers in film history - and with two Oscars, three Golden Globes and four Grammys, he is also one of the most successful. Hans Zimmer's soundtrack has characterised major blockbusters from ‘Rain Man’ to ‘Dune’, from ‘The Lion King’ to ‘The Dark Night’. Now the greatest hits of his film music can be heard once again in the Olympic Hall: in the fascinating show ‘A New Dimension’.

The journey leads through dense jungles and vast deserts, into wild mountains and fairytale castles. And as always, ‘Disney in Concert’ is about brave heroes and heroines and sinister villains and villains, but above all about unshakeable friendships and the power of love, faith and courage. The successful show series is now returning to the Olympic Hall with the ‘Wishes and Wonders’ programme.
