The Olympic Park is one of the most famous sights in Munich and Bavaria. Whether you are visiting Munich for the first time or have been to the city many times before, the Olympic site is always worth a visit.

Even though the Olympic Tower and, from 8 September 2025, the Olympic Stadium will be closed for renovation, there is still plenty to discover.

Whether you marvel at the park from the park railway or on a boat trip, or learn about the Olympic site with the audio guide, there are many ways to explore the Olympic Park on your own.

This new attraction offers a unique view of the Olympic Park, Munich and the surrounding area: the Skylift in front of the Olympic Action Sports Centre. With four gondolas, each seating up to 20 people, it takes you up to a height of 70 metres. After an initial guest appearance from the end of August to the beginning of September, the observation tower will return permanently to the Olympic Park on 13th October.

Please note: The Olympic Tower is currently closed for renovation, and the Olympic Stadium will also be closed from 8th September.
