The World of Hans Zimmer

A Symphonic Celebration - Additional Show

Due to the unprecedented high demand for tickets, Hans Zimmer and Gavin Greenaway announced at their exclusive European Press Conference in London an additional concert date in Munich at the Olympic Hall on 10th April, 2019.

Accompanied by long-time friends and colleagues, "The World of Hans Zimmer: A Symphonic Celebration" presents the doyen of the current generation of film music composers in concert. Though he is curator and musical director of these concerts, Hans Zimmer does not actually appear on stage. Featuring his electronic band playing in "The World of Hans Zimmer: A Symphonic Celebration", this time Hans Zimmer's music is being performed in an orchestral setting. Following months of meticulous work, Hans Zimmer has fashioned an opulent concert suite for his electronic soundtracks. Another novel feature is that selected film sequences are to be performed in public for the first time. "The World of Hans Zimmer: A Symphonic Celebration" features a number of renowned soloists from Hans Zimmer's talent factory, most of whom have also accompanied his "live" tour. These include Pedro Eustache, flutist of the Pirates of the Caribbean series and solo violinist, Rusana Panfili. Conducted by Gavin Greenaway (who Zimmer says he trusts more than himself), the compelling symphonic performance makes for a haunting and unforgettable musical experience. In a series of short videos, Hans Zimmer and his long-time friends and colleagues reveal entertaining and amusing insights into the behind the scenes studio work. The audience is thus immersed in this exciting symphonic rendering of “The World of Hans Zimmer" in a full multi-sensory experience.
