Summerfestival

The Munich showmen will be on site with their rides, the stall street invites you to stroll and shop, the food stalls offer culinary delights from all over the world. As last year, there are also special themed weekends, a Dachshund Day, a special children's programme and much more.

Theme weekends

From 9 to 11 August, everything revolves around Bavaria and its culture. There will be a programme with everything you need for a traditional Bavarian weekend, including Dachshund Day (11 August), horse-drawn carriages from the breweries, folk dancing and much more.

From 15 to 18 August, it's all about self-made and arts and crafts. Macramé, pottery, painting, wood art, and, and, and..., if you like to lend a hand and give free rein to your creativity, this is the place for you.

The motto for the last weekend (23 to 25 August) is Body & Mind, with themes such as self-care, beauty and health. Inner well-being in all its facets takes centre stage with workshops, exhibitors and sporting activities.

Popular classics

The daily offerings of Munich's showmen include rides of all kinds - from the Ferris wheel to the high-speed carousel.Of course, there will also be children's days with reduced prices on 13 and 20 August. Speaking of children: on the roof of the Small Olympic Hall, young festival visitors can look forward to great games every day. This year, the "Saluti da Capri - Bar & Musik" on the peninsula (!) will provide a chilled-out beach atmosphere for relaxation in Munich's midsummer. And, of course, there will once again be plenty of fireworks in the sky above the Olympic Park on 23 August.
