ABBA's breakthrough came in 1974 at the Eurovision Song Contest in Brighton, when the Swedish quartet triumphed with "Waterloo" - laying the foundations for an unrivalled success story. Year after year, the band produced albums and hits that reached number 1 in the world's most important charts. "The Visitors" (1981) was to be the last studio album for the time being. The best-of compilation "ABBA Gold" ensured a revival in 1992, before the band made a sensational comeback in 2021 and released another longplayer, "Voyage", which reached the top position in the UK and Germany, among others.
The show ABBAMANIA established itself as the world's most successful tribute from 2005 onwards and is now going on tour again, including guest appearances in the Netherlands and the Czech Republic for the first time. As usual, with great singers who, together with their band and a symphony orchestra, provide the typical ABBA sound - plus authentic costumes and a spectacular light show for a journey back in time to the 1970s and early 1980s. In addition to 20 years of ABBAMANIA, there will also be the 50th anniversary of the hits "Mamma Mia" and "SOS" from 1975 to celebrate. Thank you for the music!
