Panorama Tour

The tour starts at the information pavilion next to the Olympic Action Sports Centre. An introductory film and a scale model provide an initial overview of the famous tent roof and the site. During the subsequent walk through the grounds, our guides will tell you about the history of the 1972 Olympic Games, the unique architecture, the master builders and architects such as Frei Otto and Günter Behnisch, and the park’s vibrant present-day role as one of the most frequently used Olympic venues in the world.

Finally, the tour leads to one of the park’s newest attractions, the SAYAQ Adventure Tower. Here, the grand finale takes you up 128 steps to the 180 m² viewing platform of the climbing garden – for a magnificent panoramic view of the Olympic Stadium and the park’s other venues, the city skyline and, on a clear day, the Alps. The Panorama Tour is a wonderful experience for everyone!

A walk, panoramic views and lots of climbing fun…

If you’d like to combine this tour with plenty of adventure, no problem: for this grand finale, after completing the full panoramic tour, we’ll head to the climbing garden at the SAYAQ Adventure Tower.

Exciting courses await you, featuring 38 climbing stations across three levels with a wide range of difficulty levels. Secured with modern climbing equipment, you’ll need to navigate ropes, bridges, nets and moving elements from station to station. Those who enjoy a particularly athletic challenge can also abseil from a height of around 18 metres.
