An Evening with 2CELLOS

They discovered their passion for the Cello as early as during their childhood. Both celebrated success in the most important international classical event sites such as the Royal Albert Hall and Wigmore Hall in London as well as the Vienna Music Society and Concert House. In 2011, 2CELLOS became internationally famous with their interpretation of Michael Jackson’s hit “Smooth Criminal”. Their YouTube video spread like wildfire and has had over 25 million views to date. This first success led to a record deal with Sony Masterworks as well as the invitation to accompany Sir Elton John on his world tour. They appeared with renowned artists such as the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Queens Of The Stone Age and George Michael. At their upcoming concerts, 2CELLOS will again present a sensational rock and classical spectacle with a new, two-part programme: During the first part, they will be accompanied by a 10-member orchestra, in the second part by a dynamic rock drum kit.
