André Rieu

The big Germany tour 2027

Olympic Hall

22 million followers on social media, over 2.1 million monthly streams on Spotify – and, of course, a spectacular live performance at every one of his concerts. For decades, André Rieu has been thrilling audiences at his performances with a rousing show, full of wit and charm. Ten months after his most recent concert at the Olympic Hall, the violin virtuoso is set to return to Munich in January 2027.

Just recently, the industry magazine Pollstar named him one of the most successful live musicians of the 21st century. In the ranking of bands and artists with the highest-selling tour tickets since 2001, Rieu came 14th with more than 11.5 million attendees. In terms of the number of performances alone, he even took first place with 1,700 concerts: that works out at an average of just under 70 concerts a year in front of more than 450,000 people.

Given his upcoming tour plans, André Rieu seems to have no intention whatsoever of relinquishing the top spot any time soon – quite the contrary. If anything, he is set to extend his lead. And so the Dutch ‘King of the Waltz’ will return to the Olympic Hall in 2027, with a musical medley of opera hits and musical numbers, film scores, pop hits and evergreens – and, of course, a tribute to Johann Strauss, whose pieces have once again propelled him to number one in the classical charts in many countries on his latest album. Fans can look forward to a wonderful stage production with magnificent costumes and atmospheric lighting effects – and, as always, to a lively evening full of light-heartedness and great emotion.
