He is arguably the most legendary singer-songwriter in music history. And with more than 125 million records sold, he is also one of the most successful. His songs range from folk to rock, country, blues and gospel, and have influenced entire generations of artists worldwide. Forty-five years after his first performance at the Olympic Hall in 1981, Bob Dylan is returning to Munich in autumn 2026. Presumably for the last time.

In 1963, he celebrated his first number one in the UK charts with the album “The Freewheelin’ Bob Dylan”, whilst “Planet Waves” took him to the top of the Billboard 200 for the first time in 1974.

He has tirelessly produced songs and albums over the decades and, in 2020 at the age of 79, caused a major stir with his critically acclaimed album ‘Rough and Rowdy Ways’. Not only because it reached number one in Germany for the first time. But also because, with his 17-minute track “Murder Most Foul” about the assassination of John F.
