Disney in Concert

Over the course of seven tours to date, “Disney in Concert” has transported audiences into the magical world of the magnificent classics from the past 100 years. When film scenes intertwine with the music on the big screen and the sound of the renowned Hollywood Sound Orchestra blends with the outstanding voices of the soloists, the result is an evening full of spine-tingling moments. Whether you’re immersing yourself in the rousing melodies of “The Lion King”, singing along to the popular songs from “The Jungle Book”, or empathising with the touching scenes from “The Little Mermaid” – “Disney in Concert” guarantees unforgettable moments full of emotion!

One of the particular highlights of the anniversary tour is the internationally acclaimed singer, actress and composer Ute Lemper. The rest of the cast is equally impressive! Among them is Philipp Büttner, who was already part of “Disney in Concert” in 2022. Also returning to the “Disney in Concert” stage are Judith Caspari and Mark Seibert. Two new additions complete the anniversary tour: Disney newcomer Riccardo Greco and Chiara Fuhrmann, who has already appeared on stage in Hamburg as Anna in “Frozen” and is now taking on the role of Elsa for the first time in Stuttgart, are joining the production for the first time. Daniel Boschmann will host the evening. The popular SAT.1 Frühstücksfernsehen presenter has already appeared in “Disney in Concert” on several occasions and will entertain the audience with his usual charming manner.

In “Wishes and Wonders”, set to majestic film music, we are treated to a reunion with “The Lion King”, in which young Simba dreams of becoming a great ruler like his father once was. Baloo also makes an appearance – the deeply laid-back bear from “The Jungle Book”, who cheerfully and groovily embraces his life motto and simply gives the good life a go. Whether in “Tangled”, “Coco” or “Encanto”: time and again, it is the longing for goals that still seem out of reach that runs as a central theme through many of those great Disney films, which now evoke fond memories on the eighth tour of “Disney in Concert”. Visually through film sequences on the big screen, acoustically through the live orchestra’s soundtrack. “Wishes and Wonder” promises an evening where wishes and wonders come true.
