A good ten years ago, the musician from Mutlangen in Swabia had his big breakthrough. His debut single "Easy" caused a stir in the German music scene in November 2011, and a few months later his first album stormed to the top of the album charts. The name of the long player was the programme: "Raop" stood for his very own melange of rap and pop.
And CRO followed up with more hits, whether with "Einmal um die Welt" or "Whatever", with "Bye Bye" or also with "Traum", the most successful single of the artist with more than one million units sold, whose trademark has been the mask since the beginning of his career.
The pop rapper was last seen in Munich in mid-November. He performed a medley of his best-known songs at the pregame show of the NFL spectacle between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Seattle Seahawks. Now CRO, whose real name is Carlo Waibel, is returning to the Olympic Hall - to the place where he has thrilled his fans several times before, including in 2016 during his atmospheric MTV Unplugged Tour. With his old songs and the new hits from 11:11, CRO will provide the unmistakable raop groove on 9 September 2023.
