The ‘Some Special Shows 4 UK EU’ tour starts in July and is organised by Live Nation. It starts on Sunday 20 July in Birmingham, directly after his three-day headline performance at the Wireless Festival in London's Finsbury Park (11-13 July). Earlier this year, Drake was announced as the headliner for all three festival nights - each night with its own setlist and special guests.
This tour marks Drake's first return to Europe and the UK since his “Assassination Vacation Tour” in 2019, with the UK/EU leg following his sold-out Australian tour in February 2025 with the “Anita Max Win Tour”. In 2023 and 2024, Drake also completed his monumental, completely sold-out ‘It's All A Blur Tour’ with a total of 80 concerts in North America - including 21 Savage and J. Cole as special guests. On Valentine's Day 2025, Drake & PartyNextDoor released their joint album ‘$ome $exy $ongs 4 U’ via OVO Sound.
Drake is a Grammy award-winning, multi-platinum artist and versatile performer. The Canadian-born rapper burst onto the scene in 2009 with his EP debut ‘So Far Gone’ - voted best mixtape of the year by MTV, selling over 650,000 copies. In 2018, Drake released the platinum album ‘Scorpion’, a double album with 25 tracks. He then went on a major US tour ‘Aubrey & the Three Migos’, which included surprise guest appearances by Meek Mill, French Montana and Travis Scott. In the last five years, Drake has focused more on his musical development and released some of his most acclaimed work. In 2019, the compilation album ‘Care Package’ was released, featuring songs from 2010-2016 that were previously unavailable for official streaming. In September 2021, he released his highly anticipated sixth studio album ‘Certified Lover Boy’, which set a new daily streaming record on Apple Music. In the summer of 2022, he surprised his fans with his seventh album ‘Honestly, Nevermind’, with a feature from 21 Savage. This was followed shortly afterwards in November 2022 by the joint album ‘Her Loss’ with 21 Savage - it reached number 1 on the Billboard 200, with all 16 songs making it into the Hot 100.
In October 2023, Drake released his eighth studio album ‘For All The Dogs’ via OVO Sound and Republic Records - it landed at number 1 in the US charts, all 23 tracks were represented in the Billboard Hot 100, seven of them in the top ten. Most recently, his collaboration album with PARTYNEXTDOOR was released on 14 February 2025: ‘$ome $exy $ongs 4 U’, which once again underlines Drake's versatility and his continuing importance in the music scene.
