Five Grammys, several platinum awards and all eight of his studio albums at number 1 in the US Billboard charts. Drake is undisputedly one of the most successful rap and R&B artists of our time. In 2025, the Canadian singer will return to Europe for a tour after a long absence - and will also be coming to Munich for the first time in his career: with three performances in the Olympic Hall.

Born in Toronto in 1986, Aubrey Drake Graham first caused a sensation in 2009 when MTV named his EP ‘So Far Gone’ the best mixtape of the year. The single ‘Best I Ever Had’ also reached number 2 in the US charts. Drake's absolute breakthrough came the following year with his debut album ‘Thank Me Later’, which immediately reached number 1 in the Billboard rankings. He secured the first of his five Grammys for his follow-up album ‘Take Care’ and won further major awards at the Brit Awards in 2017 and 2019 in the ‘International Male Solo Artist’ category.

Drake also enjoyed mega success in 2018 with his double album ‘Scorpion’ and the subsequent major US tour, which also featured special guests Meek Mill, French Montana and Travis Scott, among others. The singer made himself rather scarce in Europe after his ‘Assassination Vacation Tour’ in 2019, but now Drake is finally returning on his ‘S$ome $pecial $hows 4 EU’. After headlining all three nights of the London ‘Wireless’ festival in July, the Canadian is continuing his concert tour through the UK and the continent - including another hat trick with three performances in the Olympic Hall.
