Florence Welsh and her band Florence + the Machine took off with their debut album ‘Lungs’, climbing straight to number 1 in the British charts. This secured them the title of ‘British Album of the Year’ at the Brit Awards the following year. Influenced by singers such as Stevie Nicks, Annie Lennox and Kate Bush, Florence + the Machine have developed their own unique style. Their furious and dynamic stage shows have long been a spectacular event, during which Florence Welsh has broken her foot on occasion – in 2015 at the Coachella Festival and most recently in 2022 at the opening concert of their Dance Fever tour in London.
Florence + the Machine are now going on tour with their latest album, ‘Everybody Scream’. They already gave us a taste of it in the summer with the advance release of the slightly dark title track. The video, shot in Yorkshire and Manchester, conveyed the appropriate gothic haunted atmosphere with plenty of exorcism vibes and zombie flair. But the album release date is even more fitting: 31 October 2025, the perfect soundtrack for Halloween. Florence + the Machine will be heating up the Olympic Hall on 4 March 2026, hopefully without any injuries this time.
