Arrival and departure information
We recommend travelling by public transport. For the concert, MVG is interrupting the switch construction work in Fröttmaning so that the U6 can run every 5 minutes to/from Fröttmaning. Due to the construction site, there will be longer waiting times at the underground station on the return journey. We ask for your patience and mutual consideration so that everyone can reach their destination safely.
If you are coming by car, please note that only car parks P1-P3 are open. Here, too, there may be waiting times on arrival and especially on departure. Please use the licence plate registration for parking.
‘Welcome to the Jungle’ and “Sweet Child o'Mine”, “Paradise City” and “November Rain”. These were just some of the big hits that made Guns N' Roses one of the biggest players in rock music from the late 1980s onwards. The two-part double album ‘Use Your Illusion’ from 1991 also became a phenomenal bestseller, and in 1993 the band gave a brilliant and unforgettable performance in the Olympic Stadium on their subsequent tour. As more and more founding members left the band, Guns N' Roses soon seemed to be history - until Slash and Duff McKagan returned in 2016 and celebrated their comeback on the big “Not In This Lifetime” tour in front of more than five million fans.
In 2017 and 2022, the band returned once again for two mighty open-air performances under the tent roof. Guns N'Roses will now play their next open-air concert in Munich on 20 June 2025 in the Allianz Arena, which will be available as an alternative venue for open-air concerts from 2025 to 2027 due to the upcoming renovation of the Olympic Stadium in cooperation with the Olympic Park. Will you really get anything other than what you want - as the title of the tour promises? It will be interesting to see.
Guns N' Roses are Axl Rose (vocals, piano), Duff McKagan (bass), Slash (lead guitar), Dizzy Reed (keyboards), Richard Fortus (rhythm guitar), Frank Ferrer (drums) and Melissa Reese (keyboards).
Special Guest: Rival Sons
