Half Marathon Munich

For beginners, there is a 5 km ‘Fun Run’ over a single lap. The 10 km race involves completing the 5 km lap in the Olympic Park twice, whilst the half-marathon consists of four laps of 5.25 km each.

The Mini Marathon is back again this year, with the youngest participants running 500 metres and the older ones 1,500 metres.

Race packs can be collected on Thursday 9 April and Friday 10 April from 3 pm to 7 pm at the Olympic Swimming Hall (upper right side entrance) and on Saturday 11 April from 7.30 am. Showers and changing rooms are also available there. The starting gun for the 5 and 10 km races will be fired at 9.40 am on Coubertinplatz / Hans-Jochen-Vogel Platz; this is also where the course loops through and where the finish line is located. The half marathon then starts at 10.20 am. Runners will receive a functional shirt at the finish line, and children will receive a surprise gift. Refreshments at the finish line, including fruit, will be provided; drinks on offer include isotonic thirst-quenchers from xenoft and Erdinger Alkoholfrei wheat beer.
