Jason Derulo began writing songs at the age of five - and as a teenager he was already working with rappers such as Pitbull and Birdman, as well as writing songs for KatDe Luna and Lil Wayne. He celebrated his breakthrough as a solo artist with his debut single, when ‘Whatcha Say’ immediately reached number 1 in the US charts. The hit reached number 3 in the UK and number 7 in Germany, and the Florida-born artist landed further mega-successes with ‘In My Head’, ‘Talk Dirty’ and ‘Want To Want Me’. Derulo scored an absolute bestseller in 2020 with ‘Savage Love (Laxed - Siren Beat)’, a co-production with New Zealand music producer Jawsh 685. Derulo has also repeatedly demonstrated his musical versatility across all genre boundaries in collaborations with major acts such as BTS, Nicki Minaj, Luke Bryan and Michael Bublé.

The artist has also long been one of the absolute top stars on social media, with around 200 million followers across all platforms. Jason Derulo last provided a rousing show in the Olympic Hall in March 2024 on his ‘Nu King’ tour and is now going on tour again.
