Only in September 2023 did he heat up his fans next door in the Olympic Stadium. At his open-air performance as part of the Superbloom Festival, Kontra K thrilled his audience and proved once again that he has raised German rap to a new level in recent years. Since "Labyrinth" in 2016, he has stormed to the top of the German charts with each of his albums, including the follow-up albums "Gute Nacht", "Erde & Knochen", "Sie wollten Wasser doch kriegen Benzin", "Vollmond", "Aus dem Licht in den Schatten zurück" and "Für den Himmel durch die Hölle". In 2018, he won the "Best Live Act" category at the 1 Live Crown Awards, and in 2019 to 2021 he won the "Best Hip-Hop Act" category three times in a row. A flawless hat trick.

The number one spot in the German singles charts, on the other hand, eluded him for a long time - until the summer of 2023, when he reinterpreted Lana del Rey's hit song "Summertime Sadness" in cooperation with her and celebrated a number one hit for the first time with "Summertime". Now Kontra K is coming back to the stage live, during his "Die Hoffnung klaut mir niemand" tour he will stop at the Olympic Hall on 10 March 2024. Of course, again with rap from a new dimension.
