Linkin Park have become an innovative sensation in the music industry and are one of the best-selling artists of the last twenty years. Their RIAA Diamond-certified debut album ‘Hybrid Theory’ is considered the ‘best-selling debut of the 21st century’, while their second album ‘Meteora’ entered the Billboard Top 200 at #1 and went 8x platinum in the US. The band has sold more than 100 million albums worldwide and received 2 GRAMMY® Awards, 5 American Music Awards, 4 MTV VMA Awards, 10 MTV Europe Music Awards and 3 World Music Awards in addition to numerous awards and honours. They have sold out stadiums worldwide, headlined the biggest festivals around the globe and are the first and only rock band in the Western Hemisphere to have played a five-stadium tour in China. ‘One More Light’ from 2017 was their fifth No. 1 chart entry in the Billboard 200.
In 2020, the band celebrated their breakthrough debut album ‘Hybrid Theory’ with the release of a comprehensive 20th anniversary super deluxe box set featuring the RIAA Diamond-certified single ‘In The End’. In 2023, they released the chart-topping ‘Meteora 20th Anniversary Edition’, which included the newly discovered song ‘Lost’. The emotionally charged single was originally recorded during the sessions for their second studio album ‘Meteora’ (2003). Shortly after its release in 2023, ‘Lost’ reached No. 1 on both alternative and rock radio. 2024 saw the release of their first greatest hits package ‘Papercuts’ with the track ‘Friendly Fire’, which topped both the alternative and rock charts. On 5 September, the band made a triumphant return to the top of the charts with ‘The Emptiness Machine’. The song went on to become the country's No. 1 rock chart entry and the biggest rock song of 2024, quickly climbing to No. 1 on both the Billboard Mainstream Rock Airplay chart and the Alternative Airplay chart. In total, the band has scored an incredible 13 No. 1 entries on the latter charts (the second most in history), including three in the last eighteen months. Linkin Park will release their 8th studio album ‘From Zero’ on 15 November 2024 on Warner Records. The band has always prioritised charity work to make the world a better place and has raised millions for victims of natural disasters over the years. Today, Linkin Park's influence on music and culture continues to grow and become more authoritative.
