The success story began in 2010 with the formation of One Direction for the British casting show The X Factor. During their five years together, Tomlinson and his bandmates became one of the most successful boy bands in pop history. After their last album in 2015, they went their separate ways. Tomlinson seamlessly continued his earlier success at the start of his solo career, reaching number 2 in the UK charts in 2016 with his debut single ‘Just Hold On’ and celebrating another top ten hit with ‘Back To You’. Tomlinson also regularly participated in charity events, such as those fighting cancer or supporting social projects like children's hospices and aid organisations.
Following his debut album ‘Walls’ (2020), Louis Tomlinson reached the top of the British charts for the first time in 2022 with ‘Faith in the Future’ – followed by a sold-out tour, during which he also thrilled his fans at the Olympic Hall in 2023. With his latest album, How Did I Get Here?, the British singer is now embarking on a huge new world tour through North America and Europe in 2026 – one of his four concerts in Germany will take place on 17 April at the Olympic Hall.
