Mumford Sons

Delta Tour 2019

"Delta", Mumford & Sons’s fourth album, is set for release in November 2018, delighting their fans with an acoustic preview of "Guiding Light".

The record opens with a Mumford classic featuring guitar, banjo, piano and harmony vocals, but with a fuller and more balanced production. New musical ideas combine beautifully with their traditional song writing style, broadening out the sound. In the ten years since the breakthrough single "Little Lion Man" and the award-winning debut album "Sigh No More", Marcus Mumford and his band, consisting of Ben Lovett, Ted Dwane and Winston Marshall have evolved from a traditional folk-rock band to one of the most successful acts worldwide. After the last album "Wilder Mind" and the "Johannesburg" EP, Mumford & Sons were looking for a new musical language, seamlessly fleshing out their traditional folk-rock sounds with their latest electric forays. On the new album, "Delta" they have achieved just that, with "Guiding Light" as the perfect example. This jubilant song is rooted in traditional song writing, in mounting crescendo and finally exploding! Mumford & Sons are conscious of the position they’ve gained and self-confident enough to hold it. At the end of the year, they embark on a 60-dates tour through 13 countries, leading them back next May to the Olympic Hall in Munich. Support: Gang of Youths
