The first half of the 2010s was the era of the boy band One Direction. Liam Payne, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik and Niall Horan – they were a quintet that shaped the pop culture of those years, with over 80 million records sold and sold-out tours worldwide. Following their split in 2015, the members went their separate ways – such as Niall Horan, who released his first solo single, “This Town”, in September 2016. The following year, his debut album “Flicker” shot straight to number 1 on the US Billboard charts in its first week; his subsequent albums “Heartbreak Weather” (2020) and “The Show” (2023) also became bestsellers, reaching number 1 in the UK and his native Ireland. Horan made a very special appearance in 2023 when he performed at the White House on St Patrick’s Day – for Joe Biden, the then US President with Irish roots.
Niall Horan reached an even larger audience on his 2024 World Tour, with 86 performances in front of more than a million fans across Europe, Asia, Oceania and North America, including at the Olympiahalle. The Irish singer-songwriter is now heading out on tour once again with his new album “Dinner Party”.
