Night of the Proms 2017

Along with the Antwerp Philharmonic Orchestra, ChorFine Fleur and the NOTPBackbone Band, the Night of the Proms presents popular hits from the last three centuries. As part of this extraordinary audiovisual event, classical music meets pop, chucks on stilettos and hiphop meets Tchaikovsky. In addition to breaking with musical conventions, the organisers also stage the concerts as events, in which members of the audience feel just as comfortable in a suit or evening dress as in jeans. After the switch from Robert Groslot to Alexandra Arrieche last year, our seasoned orchestra in the Antwerp Philharmonic Orchestra has been renamed, the former Electric Band now operates as NOTP-Backbone. It goes without saying that this year John Miles will once again be on board as one of the cornerstones of Europe's most successful touring event. His interpretations of famous pop and rock songs, on which he places his unmistakable stamp, regularly thrill the audience.
