Whether at Hans-Jochen-Vogel-Platz, the Olympic Lake, the peninsula, the Theatron or on the roof of the Small Olympic Hall – there will be something for Munich residents to discover everywhere on Sunday, 28 September: at the 9th edition of the popular sporting event in the Olympic Park – there is something for EVERYONE here!
New additions to the programme include a biathlon course, a bobsleigh simulator and the ‘DBS Inclusion Mobile’, with which the German Disabled Sports Association presents the diversity of inclusive sports and encourages people to get involved.
Breakdance workshops, a pump track and a high ropes course also await brave athletes. In addition, crossminton, pickleball, inclusive football, inclusive SUP courses, athletics, archery, tennis and much more can be tried out.
But there is also a lot to learn at the outdoor sports festival: for example, about the national bid for the Olympic and Paralympic Summer Games in Munich and the associated referendum on 26 October 2025 at the stand of the Department of Education and Sport of the City of Munich.
Various hands-on activities offered by numerous clubs, associations and institutions in the fields of trend and action sports, as well as activities related to classic sports, will take place at this popular event, which is part of the Munich Sports Festival family, in the Olympic Park. As always, the colourful sports day will be accompanied by the expert and entertaining commentary of Uli Florl from Radio Arabella.
