More than 200 concerts in eight countries with 50 legendary stars of rock history: Since 2010, the Rock meets Classic shows have thrilled more than 600,000 spectators. After the phenomenal tour in 2023 with bands such as Europe and Uriah Heep, the crossover spectacle returns to the Olympic Hall on 14 April 2024: this time with great artists such as Tarja Turunen, Midge Ure and Russ Ballard.

In 2010, "Rock meets Classic" celebrated its premiere as an annually recurring tour. The main acts of the debut show were Lou Gramm, Bobby Kimball and Dan McCafferty, the singers of Foreigner, Toto and Nazareth. Since then, the list of top acts has read like a Who's Who of rock history every year: from Ian Gillan to Alice Cooper, from Rick Springfield to Gianna Nannini. The line-up for 2024 is also brilliant. Fans can look forward to Tarja Turunen as headliner. The singer of the Finnish symphonic metal superstars Nightwish is a perfect fit for Rock meets Classic because of her opera training and her fantastic voice colour.

Also taking part as a duo are John Helliwell and Jesse Siebenberg from Supertramp, who already performed some of their greatest hits in 2018 with "Dreamer", "School" and "Give a Little Bit". Also on stage: Midge Ure, who already sang Ultravox anthems like "Vienna" and "Dancing with Tears in My Eyes" at RmC in 2016. They are joined by Robert Hart, the frontman of Manfred Mann's Earth Band, Paul Shortino from Quiet Riot and special guest Russ Ballard. Once again, the RmC Symphony Orchestra and the Mat Sinner Band will provide fascinating musical accompaniment.
