The creative genius of Pink Floyd comes to Munich with classics like Dark Side of the Moon The Wall, Animals, and Wish You Were Here.
Roger Waters presents the ultimate masterpieces of Pink Floyd in a revolutionary show that sets new audio-visual benchmarks. On his Us+Them Tour, coming to Germany in June 2018, the creative genius of Pink Floyd puts the band’s masterpieces in the spotlight - songs from the four Pink Floyd mega-albums Dark Side of the Moon, The Wall, Animals, and Wish You Were Here, as well as the title song from his latest CD, “Is This The Life You Really Want?” The Munich Olympic Hall will be one of the stations for this colossal multimedia production. An unforgettable evening without parallel! His unmistakable trademark is found in nuanced surround-sound audio and titanic visual impressions which change the arenas into gigantic projection screens. It makes for fascinating musical theatre in Cinemascope. Walls of LED lights divide the spaces lengthwise and expand or contract, creating, for example, the oversized smoking Battersea Power Station found on the cover of the album Animals.
With this tour, Roger Waters cements his place as both one of the leading lights in rock music history and as creator of unsurpassable, memorable spectacles. The founder and visionary of Pink Floyd is one of the most successful rock champions of all time. The Us+Them Tour is being viewed as the last opportunity to experience the Pink Floyd classics live and authentically. “We are going to take a new show on the road. The title Us And Them is a reference to the song of the same name on the album Dark Side Of The Moon. It’ll be a mixture of stuff from my long career, about 80% from my years with Pink Floyd and about 20% will be new. But it will be all connected to a general theme. It will be a cool show, I promise you. It’ll be spectacular like all my shows have been!”
