SABATON

"The Great Tour”

On 19th July, metal rockers SABATON saw the release of their new album: "The Great War". Dubbed "The Great Tour", on their European dates the Swedish heroes are supported by compatriots, Amaranthe, and Finnish cello rockers, Apocalyptica.

As bassist, Pär Sundstöm, explains: "We always choose our support acts ourselves and this time is no different. As a rising star in the heavy metal universe Amaranthe will open the evening, focussing great energy and intensity onto the stage. Then for those who aren’t yet familiar with cello rockers, Apocalyptica, there’s a big surprise in store! Believe me: Their highly-charged show shines magic across the big arenas! Apart from being the biggest tour we've ever organised; the biggest secret of this tour is yet to be revealed! All I can say is: get ready to experience an unbelievable show!” Following the recent release of their fifth album "Helix", Amaranthe looks forward to opening the evening at each concert: "Don't miss this hellish machine of a tour, because lightning doesn’t strike twice!” Currently working on the follow-up to their successful album, "Shadowmaker", Finnish cello rockers Apocalyptica recently caused a stir with the release of their own version of the SABATON single: "Fields of Verdun".
