Runners can test their form over the 10 kilometre distance - there is also a 5 km fun run for beginners. Around 900 participants are expected in the Olympic Park for the seventh edition - both ambitious runners and recreational athletes - and of course many Father Christmases, who are particularly welcome!
There is one change due to ongoing renovation work in the Olympic Stadium: the starting documents will be collected in the Olympic swimming hall (top right side entrance) - many runners are already familiar with this option from previous years. The start is in the immediate vicinity on Hans-Jochen-Vogel Square (formerly Coubertin Square). The route of the 5 km loop leads from the centre of the Olympic Park past the BMW World and the Sealife, then you run along the Olympic Hill towards the Olympic Stadium, from there past the almost completed SAP Garden Arena, and finally a loop over the summer Tollwood area before you reach the round course and the finish on Coubertinplatz again.
All pre-registered participants will receive a commemorative gift, and at the finish there will be drinks from Xenofit and a bar serving Erdinger Alkoholfrei. Traditionally, there is a buffet with gingerbread and stollen.
For the little runners, there will be a children's and school run over 500 metres and 1.6 km respectively. And St Nicholas is coming!
