Leisure and tourism facilities in the Olympic Park open step by step

For months, the people of Munich have had to do without them, but just in time for the Whitsun holidays, some of the leisure and tourism facilities in the Olympic Park are opening again. "Actually, we had hoped to open our doors earlier. But of course we are very happy that we can now offer at least some of our facilities again. It is important to us that our guests can enjoy their visit carefree and safely, which is where comprehensive hygiene concepts come in," explains Olympic Park boss Marion Schöne. A few businesses such as the boat rental, the tennis courts and the outdoor food and drink establishments (lakeside restaurant and beer garden) were able to start up again a few days ago. Now the following facilities are being added step by step: from Sunday 23 May, visitors can visit the Olympic Stadium on their own, book part of the tour programme such as roof climbs and fly over the stadium on the Flying Fox. The park railway will also be making its rounds again in the Olympic Park from Sunday. Visitors can dive into the underwater world of Sea Life on Saturday.
