After a total of 26 kilometers of plastic pipes were laid in recent weeks for the new turf heating system, through which eight cubic meters of water will run to keep the turf frost-free in winter, the Olympic Stadium will once again be the place to be from this evening onwards: It's all so green... Yesterday, half of the 250 rolls of turf from Schrobenhausen arrived at the Olympic Stadium - each 14 meters long and 2.2 meters wide. The turf carpet will be laid by this evening. After a two-week growing period, the lights will finally be green again in the arena.
