From 16 August green light for skating fans

12.08.2021 - Olympiapark München GmbH

From next Monday, 16 August, skating fans will once again be able to skate their circles in the Olympic Ice Sports Centre. Opening hours for public skating will then be: Mondays to Thursdays and Saturdays from 10.00 to 12.00, Wednesdays from 20.30 to 22.30, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 20.00 to 22.00 and Sundays from 14.00 to 16.00. Free skating is available from Mondays to Sundays, from 8.00 to 9.40 am and over-50s ice dancing on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12.15 to 1.45 pm. The ticket office closes half an hour before the end of the skating session. The applicable coronavirus rules of conduct apply, such as keeping your distance, wearing a mouth covering and contact tracing. Changing rooms are not available, but skates can be rented during public ice skating sessions. Spectators are not allowed and the number of visitors is limited to 200 people. But the Olympic Park doesn't just have a great offer for ice skaters during the holidays - there is much more to experience: the view from the Olympic Tower can be enjoyed daily. The visitor service offers a range of tours. The tent roof tours with and without Flying Fox, as well as the stadium tour, should ideally be booked in advance at www.touren-olympiapark.de. You can also find the various dates listed there. In addition to the tours, it is also possible to fly "only" over the arena of the Olympic Stadium. The Olympic Stadium can be explored on your own. A visit to Sea Life is also particularly interesting for families. Tennis can also be played on the tennis court at the Werner-von-Linde-Halle. And don't forget the boat hire, the mini-golf course and the cinema on the Olympic Lake. And a trip through the Olympic Park with the park railway is always recommended.
