Over 50 outdoor sports activities waiting to be tested

30.07.2025 - Olympiapark München GmbH

On Hans-Jochen-Vogel-Square, at the Olympic Lake, on the peninsula, at the Theatron or on the roof of the Small Olympic Hall: at the 9th Outdoor Sports Festival on Sunday, 28 September, there will be something for Munich residents to discover everywhere in the Olympic Park.

Over 50 outdoor activities await testers on the grounds. You can climb, cycle, play and balance. In fact, there are a number of different new and established sporting activities and infotainment on offer here. And as in all previous years, all age groups are cordially invited to the event organised by the Department of Education and Sport (RBS) of the City of Munich and Olympic Park Munich GmbH – admission is free of charge, of course.

New additions to the programme include a biathlon course, a bobsleigh simulator and the ‘DBS Inclusion Mobile’, with which the German Disabled Sports Association presents the diversity of inclusive sports and encourages people to get involved.

In addition, breakdance workshops, a pump track and a high ropes course await courageous athletes. There is also crossminton, pickleball, inclusive football, an inclusive SUP offer on the Olympic Lake, as well as athletics, archery, tennis and much more to discover and try out.

Speaking of infotainment: those interested can find out more about Munich's national bid for the Olympic and Paralympic Summer Games and the associated referendum on 26 October 2025 at the RBS stand.

As always, the colourful sports day will be accompanied by the expert and entertaining commentary of Uli Florl from Radio Arabella.
