Growing up in a musical home in the Carinthian Lesach Valley, Melissa learned the Styrian harmonica at the age of six, and later the flute and guitar. Her media breakthrough came in 2010 with second place in the folk music Grand Prix "Melodies of the Alps". Her third studio album "Kunterbunt" stormed to No. 3 in the Austrian charts in 2017, its successor "Wirbelwind" to No. 1 in 2019, as did later albums "LederHosenRock" (2020) and "Glück" (2022), with which she entered the Top20 in Germany for the first time.
The cheerful and down-to-earth artist puts on a great show, especially in her much-acclaimed live performances, with her mixture of Schlager, folk music and powerful good-mood rock. The musician, who was seen in a small supporting role as the policewoman Trixi in the Austrian feature film "Pulled Pork" in 2023, is now coming to stages in Germany for the first time with solo performances as part of her BERGBAUERNBUAM tour in 2024. For the crowning finale, the multiple gold, platinum and coveted Amadeus Award-winning musician will play in the Olympic Hall on 16 November - in her own words, the fulfilment of a lifelong dream.
Children under the age of 6 are not admitted to the concert. Young people under the age of 16 may only attend the concert if accompanied by a person authorised to represent them.
