Ricky Gervais

Armageddon

Olympic Hall

He is one of the most phenomenal comedians of the past two decades, winner of several awards, including a Golden Globe. Now the British top star Ricky Gervais is going on tour again with a new program. After "Animals," "Fame," "Politics" and "Supernature," he comes to the Olympic Hall on December 1, 2023 with "Armageddon." Between deep black humor and fine irony, with guaranteed terrific punchlines.

The actor, born in Reading in 1961, celebrated his breakthrough with the multi-award-winning BBC series "The Office," with the main character of David Brent. Gervais was one of the people responsible for making "The Office" not only the most successful British TV series of all time, with broadcasts in more than 90 countries, but also the first from the UK to win a Golden Globe in 2004 - as well as Ricky Gervais himself for the best leading role in a musical or comedy series.

His second comedy project, "Extras," was also an overwhelming success; the sitcom's guests included such greats as Ian McKellen, David Bowie, Kate Winslet and Daniel Radcliffe. But Ricky Gervais is not only one of the great solo entertainers of the present day on screen, but also in his live shows. Just like his previous four programs, he will also bring the best comedy made in England to the stage of the Olympic Hall on December 1, 2023 in "Armageddon". An evening that will be filled with plenty of puns and wordplay, with entertaining everyday anecdotes, the finest irony and bitingly wicked social satire. British humor at its best.
