The World of Hans Zimmer

Two Oscars, three Grammys, three Golden Globes - and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame to boot: Hans Zimmer has established himself as one of the most important composers in the film industry since the 1980s. For the new live tour "The World of Hans Zimmer: A New Dimension", the mastermind of film music as curator arranged a completely new programme from his rich repertoire. Even though Zimmer himself will not be performing live on stage: Outstanding soloists together with a magnificent symphony orchestra under the direction of conductor and Zimmer's close friend and confidant Gavin Greenaway, who was already on the podium for the previous tour "A Symphonic Celebration", will ensure the rousing and touching performance.

"With this new show, I want to bring the unique facets of orchestral music back to the audience," says Hans Zimmer, once described as a "Hollywood Rebel" by the BBC. And conductor Greenaway also promises, "This show will be an absolute thrill." The programme will be visually enriched by visually stunning projections of sequences from legendary films, which Zimmer first gave their incomparable sound.
