First-class ice hockey in the Olympic Ice Stadium.
It might still be summer, but the professionals from the DEL are already getting ready for the new ice hockey season. And the first highlight of the season at national level is traditionally held in the Olympic Park, or more accurately in the Olympic Ice Stadium: the Germany Cup! This year, the four nations of Germany, Canada, Switzerland and Slovakia will be battling it out between the 7th and 9th of November. Want ice? Then come to the pre-sales event on the Saturday, because ice hockey fans are able to secure their tickets from the 9th of August. Order on the Internet at www.muenchenticket.de or at all approved advance sales outlets! It pays to be quick, because the seating capacity in the Olympic Ice Stadium is not all that large. The premier ice hockey tournament is now being held for the sixth time in a row in Munich's Olympic Park. Fans can also look forward to top international teams and a unique atmosphere in the Olympic Ice Sports Centre. But that's not all! The revamp of the EHC Red Bull Munich's home arena has been completed: new seats, new video cubes, a new VIP area and a new sound system will all ensure even greater enjoyment for all. So ice hockey will be even more fun! On-the-day tickets for the following matches are available in two categories: Seats for Euro 42 and standing places for Euro 20: Fri, 07.11.2014, CAN – SVK, 16.30 / GER - SUI, 20.00, Olympic Ice Sports Centre Sat, 08.11.2013, GER – SVK, 16.15 / SUI - USA, 19.45, Olympic Ice Sports Centre Sun, 09.11.2013, SVK – SUI, 13.15 / USA - GER, 16.45, Olympic Ice Sports Centre After taking third place last year, the team led by German trainer Pat Cortina is again aiming to take the title in the Olympic Park - as it did back in 2009, 2010 and 2012. The young German team is highly motivated and is keen to show its fans that it's once again part of the extended world elite in the Winter 2014/15 season. They face competition from the Olympic winners Canada, last year's runners-up Switzerland and Slovakia, which last won the Cup in Munich in 2011. So the tournament will bring plenty of excitement. Over 30,000 ice hockey fans created an incredible atmosphere in the Olympic Ice Stadium over three days last year, and in the autumn it's once again time for small pucks and big emotions! Alongside the on-the-day tickets, which are also available at concessionary prices (e.g. from Euro 10 for children up to the age of 14), 3-day tickets can also be purchased for Euro 50 (standing) or Euro 99 (seated) - offering a saving of more than 20 per cent. The prices are all inclusive of VAT and all charges, but exclusive of postage costs and tickets are available from München Ticket GmbH, Tel. +49 (0)89 / 54 81 81 81, Fax: +49 (0)89 / 54 81 81 54, www.muenchenticket.de, in the Information Pavilion at the Olympic Ice Sports Centre, in the glass atrium on the Gasteig, in the Town Hall Information Centre on Marienplatz, in the Tourist Information Office at the main railway station and in the advance ticket outlets affiliated to München Ticket.
